Hi

Only still walking at this stage, am going back to the gym in 2 weeks from Monday, I go to Curves and will be aiming to go 4 times per week. I am just starting mushies, approx Day 16 and a sample day for today was

Brekky: 1/2 sachet of Uncle Toby's oats - pretty milky at this stage

Lunch: Small can of John West light tuna (sandwich flakes) with 3 clix crackers

Dinner: 1/2 cup of cooked Pasta with a Tomato based sauce and a little bit of grated cheese

Snacks: 1/2 mashed banana, 1 weight watchers icecream

Fluids: Tea, Latte, Water, Diet Lemonade

I have also planned some meals for this week and they are things like mashed vegies, steamed fish, Pasta, scrambled eggs, poached eggs, tuna, baked Beans and then progressing onto risotto, taco's, stirfrys. I so cant wait to eat some crisp vegetables but will wait another couple of weeks for those. I found the full liquids phase fairly challenging although after now being banded for 2 weeks have lost 7.5 kilos so am pleased with that. How are you going? please share ideas for meals and Snacks too as besides Soup for lunch and some diet jelly's etc I do find lunches a bit tricky. Sim

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
