Recommended Posts

Hello you all, I have a question that you guys probably can help me with. Right now I weigh 110 lbs. I really want to get to at least 125. However I eat alot but unfortunately not enough. My eating habits are bad. I am a junk food junkie, and certain foods really makes me sick:sick . (not a person who pukes intentionally) LOL Anyway what foods do you know that I can eat, which will help me get my weight up and be healthy at the same time. Or what Vitamins that are good also. Please help me out here guys, I never thought I would be posting a question on here, cause of me not being banded. I know you all have great answers so throw them to me. Thanks!!!! Shoutout to KATHY!!!! HEY!!!!!:)

WOW how strange was it to see this at this site?? hehe well I know my husband used to eat chicken and potatoes and bananas when he was working out and trying to bulk up. He had a protien sorce with EVERY meal. I try to do this as well, but he also did the potatoes. Hope that helps. Unfotunately I didnt gain my weight with chicken and potatoes so the way I did it wouldnt be helpful for you. I supose you came to the right place though. lol Every one here could tell you their worst fat culprit. Mine is probably pasta! If you dont care if your gaining fat or muscle just eat fetichini alfraido everynight for a few weeks..................mmmmmmmmmmm fetichini **sighs**

Say HE-EEYY!!!

Yes, Protien, just like those of us who want to lose the weight. It's good for muscle bulk, and you definately want to avoid bulking up with fat from junk food and lots of processed foods. Keep it real food, meats, veggies, potatoes, and protien drinks (1-2 a day) will help.

there is a website, someone help me here and post a link if I can't find it, that will tell you how many calories, grams of protien, fat, etc. you should eat to lose or gain weight....let me see if I can find it...

Yep, there is a button for gaining weight, too. It's pretty interesting!

Let us know how it goes! We are good at weight gain here, but most of us have gained the wrong kind of weight...fat!!! But at 110, maybe you could use just a Little bit of padding? hehe :)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
