Pro-Stat--anyone know anything about it?

Recommended Posts

I was just on my surgeon's website and saw that he is now "pushing" a product called Pro-Stat. I have never heard of it, so I Googled and found that you pretty much have to order it through the mail or directly from your surgeon (although I don't remember seeing it available last time I was in his office).

Anyway, cost-wise, it looked like a good deal. Does anyone have opinions on this product? I would appreciate your input. There are several flavors available and also more than one formula (there's Pro-Stat 101, etc.). Let me know which one you've tried and what you thought...and where the heck you got it. I really hate it when I can't just make a run to a local store and buy my Protein.

I ordered Pro-Stat through CVS on-line. I am sure if I needed it on a regular basis my store would stock it for me. It saved me immediately after my banding when I could only tolerate a small volume of Fluid at a time. It has 15gms of Protein in 30ml (a shot glass) and I took it 4 times a day with some clears and it brought me to my protein goal. I keep it now waiting for my fills when I am sure I am going to need it again. I am not someone who will drink a Protein Shake (if I have a shake I want a burger!) so I used this instead. I have the unflavored and it has a sweet taste like juice but the consistency is thicker.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
