Reduction of unwanted hair...hairy-hirsutism

Recommended Posts

Anyone seen a reduction in unwanted hair...facial, belly...anywhere else? I want this hair gone, and I am holding out hope that having lapband will help this problem some. I started laser hair removal on my chin before lapband and it really hasn't changed much...and this is after 8 treatments! Has anyone had it on the bikini area...is it as painful as a friend claims?

:) yeah that's just great isn't it??? i just had my fourth session, laser is to its highest setting, 30, and i only see a 50% difference in my treated areas. i get my entire face done with the exception of my nose & forehead, my under chin area gets treated as well. my package includes 6 sessions and free maintenence for two years...i told the tech yesterday I KNOW i'll need more than 6 sessions. all i know is, for the money i spent, this sh*t better work.

My endocrinolgist said that since the androgens have been released (or some such jargon) it will be hard to get rid of that hair. I was reading the warranty on the laser hair removal...it says that if you have a metobolic disorder, like PCOS, then they won't guarantee it.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
