My one year bandiversary

Hello Everybody,

I'm trying to think of something inspirational to say about my band experience but I'm so tired from my long road trip to Salt Lake City for my cousins graduation, I can't think of anything too fascinating. My experience has been smooth overall and fairly textbook. I'm not sure I would have said that last year at this time while I was still in the hospital in Mexico of all places recovering but I can say that now. I remember waking up after surgery thinking, "what have I done!?" I'm very happy with my progress overall. I still have a long ways to go and after looking at my most recent pics of myself, I still don't love myself on camera. The pics are in chronological order from top left to right. The first pic is of me on Easter of 2004 at my heaviest weight, next is a pic of my brother and I at the hotel in Mexico the evening before surgery, directly underneath that Easter pic is one of my and my husband at the coast in Oct 04 at the coast down 68 lbs., next is a pic of me taken a couple of weeks ago at 92 lbs lost and lastly is a pic of me a couple of days ago at my cousins graduation. I really enjoy the support I get on LBT and feel like good friends with many of you. May we all continue to work well with our bands and achieve success. AND remember... CHEW CHEW CHEW

Isn't that gown on my cousin at her graduation beautiful? My aunt is Korean and got this for my cuz for her graduation with her associates degree a couple of years ago so cuz rewore it this time around. I just love that gown and told aunt Sunny that the day I'm as slim as Cuz Angel I'm ordering one.

P.S. I was just thinking about the changes in clothing this past year. At this time last year I was wearing 4 and 5 X's but now I can wear some 2X shirts and pretty much anything 3X fits fine. Those pants in the graduation pics were actually my moms. That is the first time I've been able to wear the same pant size as her in years. All of those bathing suites I got in Vegas are fitting perfectly too. They were a tad bit tight at the time of Vegas but still wearable but now they really fit good. One of them is even getting a bit baggy.

Well done, Teresa! You look great. You're almost at that century mark... just think what the next year will bring. Congratulations!

Ok Teresa, that does it, you need a new avatar, you are soooo much younger and prettier than that avatar makes you look, it's definately time for a change. You've lost almost 100 lbs, show it off girl. You're looking great, we're all so proud of you, now about that avatar.

Excellent job Teresa! You do have a lot to be proud of and look at the difference in your pictures. That speaks for itself. You look great. Happy Bandiversery!

Teresa

You look great and seem much happier. I've always remember you as being so uplifting and fun loving.

I laugh everytime I think of how we met, me hailing a cab while you and KC drive up in the Mustang...and you said "I've got a welcoming commitee"

Congratulations and Happy Bandiversary

Look how fast your hair's growing, thanks for the updated pics.

You are an amazing inspiration. You seem to have conquered this effortlessly. You are half the person you used to be, and you are just the cutest thing so spoil yourself and get some well-deserved sleep. Incredible. Congrads, T!

Teresa....You look wonderful. I can see such a difference. Isn't it amazing the difference a year can make! I hope that I am doing as well as you after a year.

Congratulations! Your hard work is definitely paying off. You go girl!!!
