  1. Does anyone know if I absolutely have to have my band unfilled for my tummy tuck (11/29). And if so, why???? Did you? And would anyone be kind enought to let me see your before and after pictures? Or, any links to where there are real people like us getting them done? Thanks.
  2. Congratulations! I've been following your progress and your frustration at being stuck. I'm 14 months out and stuck, stuck stuck. I see a ray of hope knowing if you can do it, so can I. You go girl!!!!!!!
  3. Well, why don't we just talk here about it? I am down 107 in 14 months and am stuck, stuck, stuck..... it's been about 4 months now since any real loss. How long have you guys stuck on plateaus?
  4. I don't miss anything. Everytime I look in the mirror it reminds me how very grateful I am to have the band.
  5. Okay, so what are the dates for the bash?? I'm gonna be there 9/8-9/11, would love to meet with you guys for a little while, but most of the time I am booked up. Can someone fill me in? What do I need to bring?
  6. I'm speechless and tearful. I'm praying for her.
  7. Jonathan, Good luck with everything, you're heading in a good direction. Tough times always makes a person stronger. And for the record, I think it's pretty common people remarry the same person, I know of 3 people who have done it, unfortunately, they had the same result as you. Isn't life grand??????
  8. Wow Penni! You're HOT! You go girl!!!!!!
  9. Welcome Krystal. We all started out hopeless and paranoid that we were the biggest person around. But you know what? That doesn't even matter. What matters is that you have made the committment to be healthy and the band is going to be a very useful tool for you. I too, started at over 300 lbs and one of the benefits of our larger size is that is seems to come off a little faster as long as you follow the rules. Good luck and you will be successful!
  10. Teresa, you look great! I'm so proud of you. Keep up the good work!
  11. Lisa , you look great! And thank you so much for all the fun and excitement you add to the LBT. I'm gonna be in vegas 5/19-5/22, maybe we could meet up for a drink or some trouble???
  12. Break the pre-op diet? OMG, I did the Minnesota restaurant circuit for weeks before my operation!!! Had to get my last supper in about 20 times over!!!My only restriction was like you, no food or liquids after midnight. Good luck with your surgery and enjoy the Macaroni Grill (yummy!)
  13. It's going to be okay. Don't be so hard on yourself. We developed so many bad habits over the years, it takes a while (forever?) to rid ourselves of them. We've all been where you're at and we continue to be successful. And guess what? You will be too! Just pick yourself up, look in the mirror and tell yourself today is the start of your road to success. We're here for you. Good luck!
  14. I feel so bad your having problems. I am 9 months out and have lost 99 lbs. ..It does work!!! Don't give up!!! Just listen to your doctors orders and hang in there! Its worth it...
  15. Good job Michelle! A 10? Holy Cow, thats tiny!!! You go girl.
