Since I have been with my husband I weighed more than himI went under him but then looked extremely unhealthy. I got to 136 and he is only 143 lbs. I joined the gym and gained muscle and now I weigh the same as him but he has a big belly. How strange.................

Beware: rant ahead--

OK, so I tell DH I've lost 30 lbs, and he says "Great! I've lost such-n-such pounds from working outside...blah blah blah...!" So now, we're the same. But wtf?? Get off my cloud! I tell him its easy for him to lose weight, and he's never had a problem with it anyway. Its a struggle for me, and this is supposed to be MY excitement, not his! He isn't un-supportive, but still doesn't totally get it. When my father-in-law found out how much I lost, he calmly said "Thats substantial." Substantial???!!! Is it just me? Or am I on some other planet???!!! All you guys here are my main support, as you can see, and I thank you!

My DH started dieting when I started the pre-op. Fast forward to today.....he has lost 31 pounds and I have only lost 16, and I am banded!!! Talk about frustrating.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
