BodyBugg Question

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping some of you who use the Bodybugg can answer this -

I am thinking about getting the Bodybugg. But, I do a lot of swimming and kayaking. Can it get wet? Can you take it in a pool? I'm assuming I can't, but I couldn't find any information on their website. Just curious what y'all do, particularly those of you who swim or train for triathlons.

Thanks.

Anna

You cannot get the Bugg wet. If you swim or shower, you have to take it off. I am hoping that some day they make it Water proof. However, for now, you can't get it wet. You CAN do any other exercise in it and sweat in it. I work out all the time and it gets sweaty. If I swim, I take it off. You can then go into the system online and it will say "we detected the device was off body for "X" minutes. Then, you can select the activity you were doing while it was off and it estimates your calories burned.

I love my Bugg and would get one and just manually put in the stuff you do while the bugg is off. It has SO helped me stay on track and get back on the losing path!

Hope this answers your questions! Rose

Thanks. That is what I needed to know. I figured I couldn't go in the pool with it since you have to take it off to shower, but I didn't know you could add activities using the online system.

Thanks.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
