Haydee, you are one busy girl!!! I forgot that we discussed the wedding/event hosting thing in the car, and not all of us were there!!!

As for the tanning---did that last year, it tanned me all over....kinda!!! I went nude (!) and had a great tan on my cleavage-------however where the girls rolled to the sides----they and my upper arms where they landed, remained white!!! And I had little white crescent moon shapes right under my butt cheeks, at the top of my thighs on the back, where it smushed my butt down, and then when I stood up and walked or anything they showed!!!! It was definitely a live and learn experience for me!!!

Maybe some of the self tanning lotion on the lighter parts??? Never used much of it either, but I remember talking to Terry---her tan looked great til she began rubbing it off in the river!!!! I doubt at the wedding you will be in a river though!!!

Oh Terry you look all 'alluring' now!!!!! Very nice!

Sounds like you're discovering what's really important for you Haydee--YOU! And so if it does or doesn't work out with Juan, you'll have the self-confidence to do what's best. The violets looks great, that first pic they are actually GLOWING!!

I picked the 'fruit' of my squash/zuccini/cucumber plant (I couldn't figure out which one was growing like crazy). After plucking 3 'fruits', it looks like zuccini. They are massive. 2 I waited too long, they are the size of my arm, I bet they don't taste good. The 3rd is the size they are in the store so it should be ok. I also finally have 1 Tomato and 1 watermelon growing.

Russell said he was 150lb before we started living together (I wasn't sure how to take that!!) he said, before we lived together he never bought 'junk food', he said he thinks probably because he couldn't justify the money for it. But I will tell ya (and I let him know), I don't eat Oreo's, I've never bought them.. and that's his big thing, he buys packs of them and would eat a whole one in an evening.. I didn't get him into Oreo's, that's not my fault!!! Hehe. So anyway he was up to 217, that's 67lbs!! Like I said, I knew he was gaining weight, but had no idea it was that much. He packs it better than I do, he doesn't have a gut hanging over his pants like I do! He has massive upper arms, but it's muscle.. not flab. We just got back from TGIF's, I keep having to explain to him everywhere we go what he can have. I got the parmesian crusted chicken & mozerella/tomato salad.. yum-e.

Oh and the tanning beds, I have never done it, but I'm under the assumption that it will just keep tanning what your skin currently is. So if you have more tan on one spot, that places will be darker.

Good afternoon, Violets.

Just finished the first shorts outfit for Amelia. The second one is cut out so I'm going to start on that. I have three to do. Same pattern, just different material. I'll take pics when I get done.

Terry.. you look wonderful!!! That was money well spent. I can only afford toothpicks and duct tape and it's really not that attractive on me.

It's finally warmed up here. 84 right now. I don't know what the pool is up to, but I have no time to get in it today so it doesn't matter. Maybe tomorrow after Ethan leaves.

Culvers has their butter burgers for a buck tonight so that's where we eat dinner on Tuesdays. Then I have my singing rehearsal. I have ribs in the fridge for tomorrow night. Got a Paula Deen's sons rub mix on them. We had some the other night and it's yummy. These are country ribs with much more meat than the baby back ribs, so hopefully it will be just as good.

Kat.. prayers and powerful purple thoughts for your DD..

Haydee..ummmmmmmmm could ya use a wedding singer for your wedding planning???? I'm available for a price, ya know.

Laura, this is the first year of my life that I have ever eaten zuccini and I found out I like it! I saute it up in olive oil with garlic, onions and grape tomatoes. Add a little touch of Splenda and some balsamic vinegar and I could eat the whole thing, but I try and be good and limit. I also found out I like eggplant. I had it on the cruise and it was yummy. Funny what you can learn in your old age!

Jane.. the Bobster got a new Cpap after having the old one for 13 years. It is sooooooooo much quieter than the old one.

Well, back to sewing..

Everyone have a good night. I'll check back before I go to bed.

Hey Everyone,

I just sent you all the photobucket link to your emails. I am honoring Susanne's privacy and don't want to post it on the site. There are a ton of pix...so put it on slide show and enjoy.

Haydee~ I sent it to the old email (mrs). I think you changed it and I can't remember what you picked. You are sounding good honey...so glad to hear your spirits are up. BTW...I never got any pork rinds:frown: Never ever...and I was the one who wanted 'em. Yep...trying to make you feel bad...is it working?

Terri~OMG...I want one too! My friend had hers done and it was not that much $. You look great! Since I missed a lot of the posts and did "drive by" post readings...did it hurt too much?

OK..I need a nap. Let me know if you did not get the pix link. I sent it 2 times, one w/ and one w/out the link. I am pooped out!

Hi Everyone!

TracyK - You go girl.

Thanks....:o

ummmm, for what?

You look fantastic by the way...

Just 'cause you get to stay home with Macy! Everytime I think of you, I kinda just smile to myself ... I'm just happy for you, that's all.

Terri~OMG...I want one too! My friend had hers done and it was not that much $. You look great! Since I missed a lot of the posts and did "drive by" post readings...did it hurt too much?

NO! I'm sure I could have easily managed with Tylenol and cold compresses, but I took Vicodin for 2 days....because I could! :crying: It was weird how it looked so horrible but didn't hurt hardly at all!

Terry-thanks for clearing that up. I smile now too.

OK, here goes...

Hi, I am Tracy and I am a food-o-holic. I weighed myself a few days ago and much to my embarassment I had gotten back into the twos...204.5. Never say it can't happen, right? I changed my ticker to reflect what I have gained (again) since a week or 2 ago...7 more pounds can you believe? But, the good news is that this morning I was back down to 201 and in the next few days I will be back in onederland where I should be.

The reason I tell all of you this is because I like to be able to admit it PLUS I want to maybe help any of you not make the same mistakes I am making (made).

So, pray for me in this long journey to get back to the 17s. I will need it. I have a feeling it will be tougher this time around....:o

Tracy----maybe the key to getting it off this time will be exercise. Yep a dirty word if I ever heard one!!!

Today I got mine in, doing hopscotch, and kicking a ball back and forth with Kinsey, as well as attempting to really (without a Wii) hula hoop!!!! Playing is exercise, and she loves it!!!

I think Manda is going to see about putting Kinsey into pre school come summers end. She can and will carry on a conversation with any adult, but with kids she clams up, and is unsure of herself. She is an only child again, and always around adults. She knows enough to start school I have no doubt, she can count and write her name, and knows her shapes and colors---is even beginning to recognize sight words. She can rhyme words, and sort things....all the things I can think of to work with her and play games doing. BUT.....I cannot give her other kids to play with and interact with. We spend time with Connor who is younger and does not play. He bullies----she spends the time defending herself, not interacting. Ray, Becky's grandson and her do wonderful, but they don't get together real often.

It was obvious at the wedding this weekend, the other kids were playing tag, she had no clue. They all played and run, and when they run, she thought they were running away from her, she had no idea to run with them. So it seems it is time. Breaking this Granny's heart!!!

I might consider going to work to occupy myself.

Terry---I agree, the difference is one of those that seems drastic, yet subtle----someone who did not know you had anything done would think you just had a great nights sleep or something!! You look wonderful!!! It did take years off----I need that!!!

Pamela, I looked through your pics, and your favorite one, is a good one, I agree---you look very happy!! I also liked seeing you in glasses!!

Well Rick and I are going out to dinner, so I better get myself ready.....

Kat

That (exercising) is what I have been doing for the past few days. I started walking a mile in the mornings and dd and I went swimming today. So far I have lost 4 pounds of it so I am going in the right direction again and that is what counts. I refuse to buy larger clothes...so I have to do this. I really need to stay sober. I wish this was more like a chat room that way I could come in here and talk instantaniously with one of you to help get over of the head hunger.

I really want a Wii. Maybe I can get one soon. I listen to Judy talk about hers and I really like the sound of it! My ex coworker has one too and she LOVES hers as well.

Good evening, Violets..

Just finished the second outfit for Amelia. I'll finish up the third one tomorrow so I can get them in the mail. They really turned out cute. I don't have Ethan tomorrow.. I don't have ANYTHING tomorrow so I can finish sewing and spend a lot of time with the Wii fit. I only got 15 minutes in this morning cause the Bobster has been watching tv all evening so that ties up the screen. I've done super good on the last few days. The Wii keeps me honest. It's really a fun way to weigh in each day.

Any word from Tracyinks yet??

TracyK.. admitting the mistakes is half the battle. You know we all understand and that makes this the best place to be when you're having problems. Confession is good for the soul and there isn't a one of us that doesn't have something weightwise and eating wise to confess.

Raise your hand if you've been absolutely perfect for more than a week. My hand is in my pocket. But I'm here and I'm still gonna work at it. The Bobster and I cruise again in October and I want my Caribbean clothes to hang on me. I can deal with that!!

I'm heading to bed to watch a little tv. It's really nice knowing I can sleep in tomorrow as late as I want.

Everyone have a good night. Sleep well.

I can barely type with my toes, my hands are so far buried!!!

Was hoping for an update from Tracyks re: her mom. I going to watch BB then go to bed. Will check in before bed and see if there is an update.

Hey has anyone heard of or know anything about that Bariatric support center back on track thing? It starts on Monday and is $75. I am sure a course is what I need to unbury my hands.......... Any input that you have heard about it would be great.

Jane

Tracy---it is called a phone!!!! If you give up your cell when you quit working, all you have to do is call and say CALL ME!!! And I will call you back on my cell where it doesn't cost either of us! I do know what you mean!!!!

Not raising my hand either........scared that someone might think they are raised with just typing, but Jane is more talented than I!!!!

I don't get to sleep late---Kinsey is here at 6 AM----so will see y'all tomorrow!!!

Nighty night!

Denise---has Dimitri got to come home yet?

Love to ALL!!

Kat

Dimitri came home last Tuesday, July 8th. He was 5 lbs even. He's doing great...adorable little guy. I'll take some pics when she brings him over tomorrow. I babysat for a while today but I took him to see my Aunt and Cousin and forgot my camera.

Blake is getting big too...here's a recent picture of him. :frown:

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
