???What is going on?

Recommended Posts

This may not be a banding question but I am going to ask...

I am producing milk. I was doing my monthly breast check 3 weeks ago and found myself with a little white stuff on my nipples. So I was curious and the more pressure I applied i produced a few more drops. I am not pg!!! I tested and had a period( a heavy one).

So for the last few weeks I have noticed an ichiness to my nipples. Then I find that I can get a few drops of milk again. I breast feed my daughter for 6 months. She just turned to last week. So I don't know what to think. I feel like I am going crazy.... Are my hormones all out of wake because of my weight loss?B)

Is this from both of your nipples?

I know this happened to a friend of mine in one of her nipples, and she had some type of cyst or something that had popped, but I dont' know about yours. I'd definitely go to a doctor... did you do any research on yahoo or google?

if its the same in both breasts i would certainly not think it was anything serious. but go to the doctor anyway to ease your mind, and find out exactly what it is.:o

I was thinkin that's really odd, and I would personally flip out if that happened... but I've never had kids or heard of that.. must be another world out there :x

i wouldn't be too worried about it. i have three kids 6,5 and 6months. before i was pregnant with number 3 i would still produce a little milk (similiar to what your talking about) and my middle child was 4. i think its fine.

Any sort of discharge from your breasts when you are not producing milk for real should definately warrant at least a call to your Gyno. You don't want to mess around with "the girls". Good luck and keep us posted!

I called my normal doc and he really didn't want to touch the problem. So I have an appointment with a Gyno on Monday. Have a good weekend.

Rarely does breast cancer cause leaking in both breasts, other possible causes include: pituatuary tumor(relax, they are hardly ever malignant) some medications (most common antidepressants) especially when you stop taking them. Or just hormone imbalance. Some women's hormone's are controlled by there weight. I could not get pregnant and tried for 2 years. Finally when i went to a fertility specialist he told me to loose 10lbs and I would get pregnant. I lost the weight and sure enough got pregnant. He explained the whole connection between weight and hormones. I had bilateral nipple drainage last year. Scared the crap out of me! Ended up it was because I quit taking anti-depressants. Weird, huh. It is a good idea though to have them send a sample to the lab. Good luck.

Well, the doc didn't think it was a big deal because I didn't have any other symtoms. So he said it would go away in time. He is doing blood work to make sure everything is alright.

I really think it IS hormones. I think the way our bodies work is amazing!!! Keep a close look at all of the changes in your body. In a year you will be amazed I bet. So watch out, wanna get down to my goal by may 17 if at all posible!!! Hormone city!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
