YAS! I'm so excited for the change ❤️ I had my VSG done on Nov. 14th, and I'll be transitioning to diet phase 4 on Jan 1st, 2025! It's my New Year's celebration!

Day two, not loving the shakes for lunch and breakfast, currently using the "glow" shakes by Collegen co here in Australia they are not too sweet, but not like a whey based one, not really creamy, a bit sort of slimy.. but so far I am coping ok, at least I get to have a good low carb meal at night, tonight a chicken and vegetable stir fry, with cauliflower rice, it was gooood too.

We got this January buddies!!

I had my surgery yesterday and got to go home the same day. I’m super sore today but not bad pain wise.

That's awesome, well done! Much easier to rest and get sleep at home! ?

How are you feeling? Able to get your water and protein in?

Really sore and it’s definitely a struggle. I can only take sips because if I take a bigger swallow, it hurts my stomach.

Rest up, recover, your poor body has been through a lot!

Dory/? Keep on sipping... keep on sipping?

I am sure you'll be feeling much better soon. ?

Hi Kim, welcome! ?

How long do you have to be on the diet, and what does it require?

I don’t have an idea yet how long. Need to lose 13 pounds and then see the nutritionist, psych etc.

The pre-surgery diet I was given is a 1200 calorie.

60-80 grams PRO

130 grams Carbohydrates

30-45 grams Fat

Breakfast

3 PRO Servings OR 2 PRO plus 1 Yogurt

1 Starch, 1 Fruit, and 1 Fat

Lunch

Same as above PLUS 2 non-starchy vegetables

Dinner

3 PRO

2 Non-Starchy Vegetables

1 Starch, 1 Fruit, and 1 Fat

MAX of 2 Yogurts per day

Mine is 2 meal replacement shakes/soup/bars unlimited low carb veggies, 100-150gm protein and 1 fat serve per day, under 1000 cals.

Yours looks pretty manageable, how are you coping?
