Fruity or Sweet-smelling urine!

Hello All!

I had VSG a month ago, and since then, I have noticed that my pee smells rather fruity. I know this can happen with diabetics, but I'm not diabetic. Maybe it's because my body is in ketosis. I'm not sure what's going on. I guess I was wondering if this has happened to anyone else?

Thank you!

Ketosis can change a lot of your body odours: breath, sweat, pee, vaginal secretions, etc. Not all of it is pleasant though so be prepared for some very funky smells.

It could also be from your vitamin. Mine makes my pee smell weird.
