Severe pain in right side...

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on 04/16 and have done GREAT until now. I can bend over or anything due to this horrible pain in my right side. It’s from my largest incision like INSIDE to my back. It hurts. Going to the doc tomorrow afternoon but any advice?

Could be from the internal scaffolding suture. You are still healing so go slowly & don’t do anything too strenuous or physical to strain or stretch the internal wounds.

Happened to me. I tore some inside flesh overdoing it. Eventually, the stich dissolved and the pain went away. It was pretty rough.

I can’t move at all today. My doc says it’s just a pulled muscle. I have 7 kids and can’t afford to NOT be able to move. I’m in tears. I can’t even wipe myself. There’s no way this is normal. What do I do???

It’s sounds like the internal stitch is absorbing and causing muscle strain. Might need a muscle relaxer. Try heat

How long did it take to heal?

As soon as the stitch dissolved, it stopped hurting. It was a few weeks.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
