Not hungry but I want to eat!!

I’m a week out post op and even though I haven’t felt hunger I want to chew something and it’s killing me!! This is so much harder than I thought I just want to chew. I’m not going to do anything stupid but just venting helps.

lol yes they are what get me through. I’ve lost a total of 11 lbs since surgery and almost 30 lbs since I started my preop diet so it’s definitely working.

Try ice. Is week two still liquids for you? I get to add yogurt, pudding and skim milk in week two day 15 and week three it’s just half a banana, cream of wheat, and oatmeal. I can’t wait to eat my oatmeal and banana. I wonder if they would let me add a little peanut butter. Every week is broken down with tiny you can eat options. I have to wait all the way to week at to eat seafood and week 7 to eat any form of meat ?. It’s seafood season in Louisiana

sorry, that sucks, I got to start soft foods today, funny how programs can be so different.

I felt that way post op, then I got to the puree stage and everything grossed me out so had to resort to liquids again. Afterwards when I got to soft foods I felt ok again.

Count the days until soft food. You will feel human again!

Do they make seafood flavor baby food? I do not have kids so I’m not sure but, I know i am allowed baby food on the puréed diet and spices as tolorated so you could maybe doctor up the baby food to satisfy the seafood craving.

Me either @chantrella. My plan is all liquid for 3 weeks post surgery. What’s your plan look like? (I’m halfway through my 2 week pre op liquid diet and I can’t imagine 3 more weeks of it at this point. ?‍♀️)
