I had the gastric sleeve done February 25th 2021. I have had little pain. I've been home from the hospital almost a week. Im doing great with the liquid diet im on but I have very little energy. I want to start working out a little but I feel so drained. When will that feeling go away?

yes - it does go away, but it takes a few weeks. Your body is still recovering from the trauma of surgery and you're taking in very few calories, so it'll take awhile before you're feeling peppy again. But...you will!

Me too Kmorrison! My VSG day was 2/23, so I'm just a couple of days ahead of you. Today was the first day that I felt like I had enough energy to take a walk around the block. It felt wonderful and it wiped me out.

We're surgery twins. I had mine on the 25th as well. I feel totally normal as if I didn't even have surgery. I have all my energy back now. Are you taking the B12? It helps. Good luck!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
