Does Your Tummy Rumble a Lot?

Recommended Posts

It seems as though just recently my stomach has been been rumbling, tumbling, and grumbling. I'm 2 years post-op sleeve. It's not hurting and I am certain nothing is wrong but I wondered if this is a permanent WLS thing or if it's because I'm drinking TONS of Water after getting back on a healthy eating plan 3 weeks ago.

Does your tummy grumble a lot?

MIne doesn't...but it never has. I have an Iron stomach, always have. To be honest, it probably rumbles 2 times more than before, but that means twice a day, not once.

Yep.

A crazy (and loud!) amount the first few months post-op, but now (after 2 yrs) it’s quieted down some. Before it felt like all day long every day, but now maybe once or twice a day. I haven’t bothered to form/notice any correlation with the frequency/decibel level of the noise with my eating/drinking habits though...maybe i should...

p.s. it just gurgled as i typed this. 😂

Yeah, LOL. It doesn't bother me but my tummy is quite "vocal" these days. 😀

Yes! I'm 13 months out and it's embarrassing at work. Mainly when drinking though, food isn't an issue 🤔

I have named my sleeve Claire and she speaks to me a lot. We have full blown conversations about food sometimes lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
