Metallic Taste in my Mouth

Hi! I’m one month post op vsg and woke up today with a metallic taste in my mouth when drinking water. Tried adding crystal light thinking it was our water with no change. Just came out and had a bottle of Aquafina with the same taste so it’s just me. Is this a sign of a vitamin deficiency? I’m diligent about taking my multivitamins, calcium, and b12 daily.

I had an appointment with the dietician today to ask about being hungry all the time (she had some good suggestions), and she suggested I check with him, so I called him and he said to come in and he saw an obvious infection (I didn't feel any pain) and prescribed an antibiotic. Hopefully in a few days that horrible bitter taste will be gone!
