Cheated on my 2 week liquid diet the first week a few times. Nothing crazy! Scrambled eggs, crackers, rice and chicken. All those things i had once.

I've been very good the 2nd week. Drinking 3-5 Protein Shakes a day. Averaging less than 10 carbs a day. 120 oz of Water. Feel super guilty about it and scared I might of messed up for my surgery (sleeve) . My surgery is Thursday in Mexico.

Praying that I haven't.

You are aware that you made a mistake and you are doing what you can to make sure that doesn't happen again. The diet is to help with liver shrinking and self control. Some surgeons require one day while others require up to a month. One mistake won't screw up the whole thing, just don't make it a habit.

Hang in there and try not to stress about it, and stick to the diet the rest of the way. ❤️ congratulations on the surgery date, by the way! ❤️

Yeah the first week probably not a huge deal, but just know it's not to be mean it's meant for you to be healthy. I think yes some surgeons do have a different procedure bases on different clients. My surgeon has like some of the strongest restrictions but that's what keeps his record 100% successful with no major complications or deaths. The diet after your surgery is super important to follow. Is it boring yes so much. But it's so you don't hurt yourself.

So please do all you can to keep the diet and good luck 🍀 in your progress. You can do this!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
