No more pains at all from surgery. Still not losing weight since released from the hospital. Under 600 calories a day. At least 60 to 70 grams Protein a day. No sugars or carbs yet. All Vitamins and minerals are being taken daily. I just have to wait till the scale starts slip sliding down again. I hope everyone a great day as well. You got to just love how they shave us for surgery.

Glad you're doing well. Your incisions look GREAT for so quickly after surgery, mine were still black and blue at this point. Good luck on your weight loss journey.

It's beautiful, bright sunshine but cold out here in Tennessee. I couldn't stand it anymore, so my wife and I decided to go to Walmart and walk around some other stores. I was still wearing my 44" jeans and they were loooooooooose on me. My wife asked me to go and try on some new jeans. Tried some on. 38" is still a tad tight but got them, paid for the jeans. Wore the jeans out. Felt really good to see the difference. Little victories are nice.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
