I had gastric bypass on 12/31. Doctor still has me on liquid diet but I see her this week and I hope she advances me. I’m sick of protein shakes. I was 245 on surgery and today I’m at 220. I’ve lost 25lbs in almost three weeks. My stomach feels okay but sometimes if I drink something really cold it feels weird. -

I had bypass on 12/31. Still on clear liquids until January 22nd. I’ve lost 18 lbs in 13 days. I can’t wait for the purée stage. -

Did anybody here come home with the draining tube from the hospital. I had surgery 12/31 and I came home with mine. I find it hard to get a comfortable sleeping position. Only two more weeks of all liquid diet for me. Mi can’t wait to have Greek yogurt or something more substantial.

My surgeon said as a precaution. She’s a great surgeon so I trust her but it’s been hard. I just am sleeping maybe 3 hours a night. I’m dying for sleep and rest and a little more than liquids. -
NYE 2019 surgery date twin?

Hi Friends, my surgery went well and I’m home and in a lot of pain. I had to come home with a drainage bag. It’s awful and luckily I have a good husband to help me because I can’t even look at it. Happy New Year. -
Hi New Friends my surgery is tomorrow. New year and new me. I have to drink the magnesium citrate and am having trouble getting thru it. It’s so sweet. Anyway, I’m so nervous. How many days after surgery did you feel a little better? I’ve heard a lot of people have nausea and they I’m worried about that.

I am semi ready. Trying to work today but have a massive headache. My doctor had me drink magnesium citrate and it was so sweet it made my stomach hurt. Did you have to do that? What time is your surgery? -

Lori, my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow morning. I have to be at the hospital at 5:15 am. I’m in Northern California too! Happy New Year. -
