I was scheduled for October 30 but have been moved to the first of the year. I have to say I am scared and nervous, but I know it is the best for my health. I am getting the Roux-en-Y Gastric bypass which I hope will give me forever better health. I was wondering if anyone has had good feedback about the vitamin patches.

I think its a scam - I consider myself to be a guro on Vitamins and nutrients. They are easy and in no way deliver the daily punch you need post surgery - I just did a post and below is a pic of my supplements. This is a key and once you good at Vitamins and Minerals you will be feeling so good and so healthy the weight lose is a bonus. I can honestly say i beat the hell out of this body and never did Vits/Minerals and good food for 52 years.

The weight loose is great but if you combine the weight lose with VIt./Min supplement program you will have double the pleasure and healthiness.

Learn the game - rates, levels, etc. It is about getting it all balanced and effective without having to eat 12 pounds of vegetables. You got lots of time just read past the marketing,

I only use one patch, and it’s a Vitamin D and Calcium patch. My other Vitamins are in pill form. I only have to take a very good Multivitamin, B-12, and Biotin. Every surgeon will provide different recommendations for what vitamins to take. I don’t believe vitamin patches are a “scam” at all, but I prefer to take mine in pill form.

they seem to work for some people, but not for others. Not sure I'd want to take the risk.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
