What do you eat in a day 6 months post op?

Hey everyone! I am 6 months post op vsg and I definitely feel like I am able to eat anything much easier now. But because of this I'm at a really tough stall....and I know part of it is because I can get more calories in. So...what did/do you eat in a day 6 months post op?? And how many calories do you take in a day? Thanks!!

  • I was getting around 800 calories a day but had stalled, so I upped it to 1000 and started losing weight again. I focus on high protein, little to no carbs.

I also am curious what others are eating at the four month stage. My nutritionist wants me at 2 oz a meal 3 times a day plus a snack and no more than 600 cals. I am finding it near impossible to meet those limitations and hit the protein requirements. I find myself getting hungry often. Curious to hear other experiences.

I'm right at 6 months. I was for the past few months right at 60-65 g of protein and getting about 650-700 calories. I am below weight goal so I'm trying to maintain and not lose so I just increased calories to 1000 the past 2 weeks but I'm still losing 2#/week.
