  1. Hey all, I used a glycerin suppository about an hour ago and it is supposed to make you go anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes after inserting... it's been over an hour and nothing. The bottle says to call a doctor but with all the covid stuff...nothing! Anyone else deal with this? I'm scared. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

But because of this I'm at a really tough stall....and I know part of it is because I can get more calories in. So...what did/do you eat in a day 6 months post op?? And how many calories do you take in a day? Thanks!! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  9. I got my surgery during the winter so maybe take it with a grain of salt...but I was VERY cold for the first three months and now at 6 months it's not as bad. Hang in there! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  10. I'm tracking calories but not as crazy as I was at first... I did introduce protein bars into my diet...and Quest Hero bars. What kind of foods did you eat around then? Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  11. Hi everyone! I am a February 2019 sleever and I'm down 100 lbs! Yay! But now at 6 months...the scale has been going up. It's about 6 lbs higher than what I weighed at my lowest. I have been introducing new foods and I recently got injured at the gym so I've just been doing cardio... has anyone experienced this at 6 months? A stall or weight gain? Also...what were you eating at 6months? I really just want to take this time as an opportunity and not go backwards. Thank you!! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  14. I had/have this issue and I'm 4 months out. I talk to my surgeon and she said it has to do with the PH in the water so adding some lemon or drinking crystal light helps. See if it makes a difference! It definitely did for me! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  17. Genepro protein powder is a little pricey but perfect for you to put in your food. No taste and it's a really small scoop compared to others! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  18. I'm currently 4.5 months post op... I've lost 60lbs overall from pre-OP to now...and I'm at a stall. I'm finally able to drink a bit of coffee...I get all my protein in and I workout 4 times a week and the scale wont move. I'm so disheartened...I even took a few bites of pizza today and I regret it so much. I feel like I'll never actually be less than obese...any advice and encouragement would help. Thanks so much in advance. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app

  21. Hey guys... I am currently three months out from surgery and my stomach is finally healed. Finally. But because of that, I feel like I can take in a lot more than before... I try very hard to make sure I dont drink with meals and dont overeat (about 3ish oz a meal) but I'm so so so afraid that I'm stretching my sleeve... is it possible so early out? I'm so worried. Any advice would be great. Thank you! Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  22. Hi there. That is normal from my experience. I'm 10 weeks post op and according to my surgeon...I was a very slow healer. My stomach and pain literally stopped a few days ago...until then, it was painful all the time...even when sipping water. So everyone is different but hang in there. Unfortunately it will be a little painful but make sure you're taking the muscle spasm medication...that helped me a lot. Sent from my SM-G965U using BariatricPal mobile app
  23. Hi everyone! I am currently almost 10 weeks post op and have hit a stall for the last two weeks. I'm trying so hard not to get disheartened but I dont know what to do. I FINALLY feel that my stomach has healed and am really trying to get my water in and my protein as much as I can. I also work out about 4 times a week if I can. Does anyone have any advice? I've introduced carbs into my diet but never go over 25 carbs a day...and my calorie intake stays around 700 or lower normally. Any help or guidance would be great.
