A thread for us to share our daily menus!

To help keep things in perspective for everyone, let's try to note our height & weight (or BMI), gender, weight-status & how far out we are post-op (unless this is already stated in your side profile :))

Post as little or as much info as you want. If you track macros, feel free to share your protein, fat, & carb details...if all you feel like saying is you had a really yummy taco, that's cool too.

EDIT: Anyone can play! VSG, RNY, DS, etc... ♥️

Lol. That’s a typical lunch or dinner for me.
I heart cottage cheese

Okay so I’m being extremely lazy today.
I honestly had a hard time eating high volume yesterday after my IF-ing the last few days so I’m KISSing today.

Back to bari-basics.

Edit to add:  the snack is 8oz fairlife milk, I’ll have that mid afternoon

You should try Good Culture! Love it and it's a probiotic just like yogurt!

Okay. So look who is willing to get outside her comfort zone and try some PP?

Guys I need some recipes.

Gonna try the one fluffy posted with caramel PP and coffee.

Quickly googled this but came up with "Keep it Simple Stupid", lol.

Assuming this is some acronym in the IF world? Please educate me!

KISS is just "keep it simple sweetie (or stupid)" lol. ;) And you know that means pretty much what @ms.sss is so awesome at!

Oh many use your pb2 in a couple different ways. (I have the Vitacost version which is less sweet tasting to me.)

1. Smoothie: bananas and cream protein (powder or liquid), 1oz blueberries frozen, 1-2 oz baby spinach (optional), pb2, ice, cashew milk unsweetened - any sweetener you want or need. Blend the crap outta it until it's kinda just baby poo greenish and WELL blended!

2. Yogurt/Cottage Cheese "Soup": 57g Greek plain yogurt, 57g Good Culture Cottage Cheese (or more), 2oz of bananas and cream PP or strawberries and cream PP or peaches and cream PP, 12g PB2, stir it all up. Top with 1oz frozen blueberries and 1/2oz of almonds or walnuts.

3. Chia Pudding. Take the above recipe and add 1 tbsp chia seeds and chillax in fridge for about an hour or so to gel up.

So so good!

Lol. Yup KISS is exactly what you guys think.

Sometimes less is more and just getting back to early PO basics for a day or two is the best plan, IMO

Okay so I’ve been fasting since 6pm last night, went to Pilates this morning, and have to get ready really soon for a 1-11pm shift today.
Before I left, I brewed 8 ounces French roast and put that over crushed ice in the fridge.
Just now mixed half the caramel PP and half the coffee with more crushed ice and it’s pretty freaking delish!

My only concern right now is whether or not I can drink the whole thing. I’m at about the halfway mark and feeling pretty full.
It’s liquid though, so I think I’ll head upstairs for a quick shower and get ready and come back to try to finish this before leaving for work.

Hubs made some skirt steak last night and I’m also going to cut up 3-4 ounces of that and take with some leftover salad mix.

Eating window today should be my normal 16:8

yay!!! It's even more better with a sprinkle of cinnamon and the bananas and cream flavor with the coffee. I call that my CocomoJoe Iced Coffee. Just sip on it all the time if you have to! I drink it in 2 drinks about an hour apart at times.
