Travel Day

It’s funny how quickly one forgets the way things were. I bought these pants prior to my plastics and could not come close to buttoning them. Now they obviously fit just fine. But the weird thing is, I don’t *feel* smaller then I did before, especially as the swelling comes and goes. I also still fit into all my my pre plastics clothes, so, hmm ...

That is a VERY cute outfit! I’m jealous of your getting to wear sandals already.

This is yesterday’s outfit. I pulled these pants out to wear for the first time, and I think I missed my window on really being able to use them. They were a bit snug when I bought them, they are now loose. At the waist. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Good Morning all. It’s been a rough week already. My head isn’t straight. I sat down in therapy yesterday started crying and admitted I’ve been binge eating the last couple of weeks. I’m years out and it’s still a battle. Back on track and getting into the right head space. Not just working on my outter self but my inner self. I hope you all have a blessed day.

P.S. I think I need to clean my mirror. Lol.

First, you look great (as usual ❤️)

Second, and more importantly, I'm glad you are working out your "insides", and it's soooooo good that you are able to admit stuff to yourself and others, because that means you aren't stuck in hiding and denial, and carved the beginnings of a path out just by the recognition of it all ❤️❤️❤️❤️

@KaysMommy, so many years out and still working it, you are one of my spirit animals on here ❤️

Ok, does it make me a voyeur cuz I just most of the time passively receive hours of viewing pleasure and grins and giggles from this thread and am having trouble having time to reply? It moves as fast as #fillintheblank!!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
