I've asked this before, but...

Recommended Posts

I have an ache in my stomach. It is not always constant. But, it comes and goes. It situated lower in my stomach. I had a burning pain and nausea before surgery and it was located below my sternum.

Could this be the same thing just lower, because they reshape the stomach with the sleeve?

I do not know how to describe it. Maybe it's a burning? I'm not sure. In any case it makes me feel ill for the moment.

Thank you for any input you may have.

Also, I see my PA in 6 weeks, so I definitely will bring it up. I was having ot before and discussed it with her at 2 months post-op and she said we may need to do a scope, which at this point I say YES!

Also, I'm almost 5 months post-op.

How intense is it? Is it sudden onset or always there? Either way, it's worth a note to your PA to ask the question and describe the symptom. Sorry for your struggle!

It feels a little more nauseating than a pain. It's random and I can't seem to pinpoint a reason why it happens. My PA said maybe it is a stomach cramp.

I feel it is not an emergency so I will just bring it up Aug 23 at my 6 month checkup.

Thank you for your response!💗

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
