I'm also in Spokane! Thank you for the tips!
Another tip is to put a little baking soda in anything with tomatoes. It will neutralize the acid and you won't get acid reflux.

Less than a month ago I was 292. In 2 weeks on the pre OP diet I lost 16 lbs. So on April 3rd I weighed 276. This Wednesday will be a month after the pre OP and 2 weeks after the surgery. Today I weigh 263 so have lost another 13 lbs. Total 29 lbs. By Wednesday which will be a month on this journey I should weigh approximately 260 lbs. Basically a 32 lb loss in a month.

I am right outside Tacoma in Parkland. Still waiting on a date. It's taking forever. I have been done with pre OP requirements for almost 6 weeks and my insurance approved 3 weeks.

Hello, congrats on completing your pre requirements, I live off 112 near Parkland. I'm going through MultiCare.

We are close to there in the Midland area. I am going through CHI Franciscan. My mom went through Multicare for her WLS and had a good experience though.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
