Looking for some tips on beating head hunger and cravings. My cravings are winning and its showing on the scale. Sadly enough it has only been a year since I was sleeved and I've been struggling something serious. I dont want to mess this weight loss tool up. I have an appointment with my nutritionist this month (April) at my request because of my concern. I definitely need to crank up the volume on exercising and drink more Water, so that is what I am building on this week. Ughhhhh.....giphy.gif

find a bariatric support group, ask your doctor to point you in the right direction. some folks here still see a nutrition therapist too. the fact that you know it is in your head is great! that is half the issue. good luck!

You are not alone. I was sleeved last April. I'm glad you made an appointment with your nutritionist. It is easier to keep weight off if you react more quickly. I have gone back to drinking a big Water 3 times a day. This has helped with snacking. I also have cleaned out my pantry again, because those trigger foods were sneaking back in slowly. Remember, YOU are worth taking care of. Good luck!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
