Endoscopy Day! Now it’s getting real!

I’m an hour away before my Endoscopy! Praying everything goes good with this and then I just have my Psych eval next week before I should be ready to submit to insurance! Eeeeek!!

Endoscopy is done! It went really well aside from finding out I have GERD and I had no clue. Apparently I have a small ulcer that’s causing some reflux that I seem to never feel so he prescribed me Omeprozol to take every morning and said he took a biopsy of some bacteria. He said I can still have the surgery though and to just follow up with him in 2 weeks. ?

That’s awesome that you no longer have it! It’s crazy I didn’t know I had it. I’m more concerned about the ulcer I guess. Did you have that as well?

Nope, no ulcers thankfully.

Fingers crossed that you will hear good news as well Frustr8 on your next endoscopy!

Oh I think I will, still finding pesky things to have evaluated , Since early February had a MRI of my chest to check on the thoracic aorta aneurysm I didn't even know I had, also found renal cyst on one of my 3 kidnets, got pneumonia, had my PICC line removed, there was fear it was spreading infection systemically, had fluid removed from right shoulder socket, now ortho wants. to remove the Plate and 12 screws. he put in to repair my broken Humerus bone 9 years ago, Told me to consider it, hasn't got better, still hurting upper arm and into right chest wall, not a moment's peace from oain, can be done outpatient/ ambulatory surgery. I'm ready--- when can it be scheduled? Then I had a severe neck ache, couldn't turn my head from side to side,, or put my chin on my chest( medical term- nuchal rigidity) after beaucoup testings, severe cervical arthritis, bad news I have a thyroid nodule of noticable size, had testing for that as well as a carotid Doppler because I am having transient double vision, be watching CNN and all of a sudden there are 2 Donald Trumps on screen , 1 is more than enough most days. Went to eye doctor, he told me to tell my medicial one instead. Why do I keep going? Don't know any better, and you guys would miss me if I weren't here! So far nothing has killed me yet!

Wow, you can’t catch a break! But you are tough and I do feel that these Drs like to prove and test for things sometimes that aren’t always necessary. I believe if you look hard enough in all of us you’re going to always find something....lol. Unless it’s causing a problem then let it be! Lol. Just stay positive and I will send positive vibes your way as well!
