Pregnant? Waiting to see (Post sleeve with PCOS)

Hey there! I have posted on here before about my PCOS and the reason for doing the surgery was to get healthy enough for pregnancy.

Everyone who has PCOS is different and exhibits different symptoms. I personally would have a cycle sometimes several times a month. I've never been one to "miss" my period. I would get heavy multiple periods a month. Over the last few months it's began to regulate and span about 29-31 days. Now I am 8 days late.

I've taken several pregnancy tests that all came up negative. Over the weekend I went into the doctor and asked for a blood test to be sure. They told me it would be a few days before I would get the results.

Since it's super common for women with PCOS to not get their period for long spans of time, I keep being told "It's just your PCOS". Since this hasn't been my experience, I'm just super confused. I ALWAYS get my period.

Anyone else with a similar situation? I'm going crazy waiting to find out.I'm exhausted and weak so I asked them to check my iron levels at the same time too to see if that could be causing those symptoms. Probably not pregnant and just wishful thinking!

Ughhhh

Hope they figure it out. You need to check all your vitamin levels. And thyroid too, in addition to your iron. ((hugs))

Wow! You need a referral to a hematologist. A 4 means you need an infusion hon--asap. :(
