Anyone else having surgery in April? Maybe we can find surgery twins here. I thought I could start it off by asking a few questions.

When is your surgery? April 4th
What kind of surgery? Revision from sleeve to Mini Gastric Bypass
Height? 5’8”
Starting weight? 285
Goal weight? 175

I thought my office was off by 1 day!! Woohoo!! I have ate everything I have wanted except maybe McDonalds fries lol

My 10 day liver shrinking pre op diet starts tomorrow. It’s hard to believe I will having my revision surgery in 9 days. I am so ready to get it done and start living my new life. I have my shakes, crystal light mixes, sugar free jello and broths ready for the work day tomorrow!

I usually do well throughout the day until 3pm ish when I start feeling that head hunger. I’m telling myself to keep busy at work because when I am busy I don’t even think about eating!

Hello everyone.started my one week liquid diet today.almost there April 1 st the big day.nervous,excited .all of those!lol

April 8th gastric sleeve. Starting my 1200 calorie limit diet for next 2 weeks. Liquid diet 2 days before. Nervous & excited!

My surgery date is April 4th and I'm ready!

New here. My surgery will be around April 17th. I am so nervous. Surgery in general scares me, but this is a new level of scared. I'm so ready but my mind is starting to play tricks on me.

Congrats! I’m fairly new here too. I start pre-op diet next week. At the beach for baseball this week. Trying to not gain any weight! Packed my protein shakes.

There a lot of new people:) Congratulations to you all!! My liquid diet started today;) Crossing fingers that this 2 weeks flies by. Good luck to everyone else who started liquids today!!

Ive had my sleeve surgery that was March 20th cancelled and moved to 3rd April so I’ve been on very low calorie low carb pre op diet almost five weeks now. Ive stuck to it 100% so I’ve lost weight as it’s so strict and am concerned they won’t do the surgery for me

starting BMI was 40 but I won’t be that now Anyone know if this has ever happened?

Hey, Another Surgery Twin! Yay!

Day 2 of Liquid Diet.

Day 1 went surprisingly well. I did pretty well all day up until around 4:30pm when I started having head hunger. My stomach felt fine so I know it was all in my head. This morning I feel great. I plan on doing the same thing I did yesterday. Alternating Broth, sugar free jello and lots and lots of water with a shake for breakfast and a shake mid afternoon.

How s everyone elses diet going?

Tomorrow I am going in to sign the consent form and and last blood work before surgery on April 29th ☺️
