I wonder how they can lose so much weight in a week too. I keep telling my trainer to watch it. They must exercise from morning to night.

Well, just as I thought my little Kae got eliminated last night. I knew they would do that. I felt so bad for her, but I knew she would get to her goal at home, so all is good. Did you see how amazing she looked?? She is truly an inspiration.

Yes, I was said to see Kae go too, but I think she has a BIG chance of winning the 100K.<

Did anyone see the Larry King with the previous Biggest Loser on? They had Matt on with his wife and new baby, anyhow, Larry asked how they lose so much weight. They explained that they work out for 6 hours a day on the show. Exercise is their job. When they go home, they have family, jobs, etc and can no longer work out like that and that is why they don't lose as fast and many gain back their weight. Matt had gained quite a bit, but still looked good. And his wife Susie (who he met on the show and she was 3rd place winner), she had gained too, but she just had a baby. She still looked good too.

I wish I could have a personal trainer to work my butt off like that. I just love seeing everyones transformation. Kae looked beautiful.

I felt so bad for Kae last night. I knew that they would send her home. Personally, I don't think that they should get to vote. I think that whoever had the lowest percentage of weight loss should go home. I bet they would work harder than they do because they wouldn't have their friends keep them in the game. I was so glad to see that Kae kept going with the weight loss. I knew that she would. I'm addicted to the show.

Seeing Kae get sent home really upset Neil. I love how he told them to bring it on ! Dude is on a serious mission now.

I didn't like him since he did that sabotagging (sp?) at the weigh in that one time. But yesterday I really respected what he did.

I agree, but part of me wonders if he just voted that way because he knew evryone else would vote for Kae and he wouldn't have to worry about it anyway. I don't know, but I wonder if he is just "playing the game" again. I would find it hard to trust someone who purposely gained 17 lbs to get rid of someone. Just my opinion.

I love the show too! Last night hubby and i were watching it and I was in tears when the spouses or signifigant others were on the other side the mirrors. The way some of the husbands looked at their wives, made me think, I want that. Don't missunderstand, hubby loves me very much and i know it, I just want to put that lil black dress on someday and wow him because he deserves it, and boy so do I !! Surgery date 1128, liquid diet not going too badly, turkey day will be hard:help: but i think i'll make it. I just keep thinking of standing on the other side of the mirror, in life, this is the beginning of my life and i'm ready. Look out world!!

On the biggest loser blog for the ones that are voted off, it says they exercise at least 5 hours a day. Isn't it amazing how the fat tones up. Most of the people keep the weight off after leaving the show, some gain a small amount back. I know 2 of the people who have been on the show and they live to exercise now, but they look great now!

I just do not understand how you can Water load 17 lbs, not to mention how dangerous it is. A little off topic, but, I think about the woman who died competing in the radio water drinking contest. In all honesty, before this happened, I had no idea that you could die from drinking too much water. http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu4tedERHLGAANd5XNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE5NjlydGY4BHNlYwNzcgRwb3MDMwRjb2xvA2FjMgR2dGlkA1BSMDE0Xzg1BGwDV1Mx/SIG=122c56c05/EXP=1195754974/**http%3a//www.nbc11.com/news/10817670/detail.html

OMG - I've never heard of such a thing!! That story was awful - I can't even imagine how the family must feel.

Do you think he could do it safely by adding salt or whatever to keep his levels normal?

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
