Having trouble reaching 800 calories on clear liquids only

I know this sounds crazy but I just started the clear liquid phase of my pre op diet and am on clear liquids until my surgery on October 17. I am so sick of liquids, and at this point I genuinely don’t know how I’m supposed to reach 800 calories on clear liquids only. It’s not that I’m not hungry (man I would kill for a single piece of buttered sourdough toast), but I feel bloated (hormone related) and just exhausted of these liquids to the point where I don’t even want to eat more soup broth. Has anyone else had these issues?

Why do you need to be at 800 cals? Is that the goal you were told to always meet? Ask your team for advice on how to reach it, if they set it.

I agree, that seems unrealistic, and unnecessary on clear liquids.

800 calories on clear liquids is impossible?! There's no calories in pretty much any of that stuff.

I am on protein shakes and one frozen meal and supposed to be around 800ish calories. And that's with actual food.
