@stiney358 I tried chicken earlier and was able to pass my protein goal ! It worked out much better than seafood
Gosh Hey give so thrilled for you, just ❤it when things go right!
I have hit my first weight stall I weighed yesterday at 346.8 and today at 348.2 all I had yesterday was a Starbucks tall (which is their small) Americana decaf with pumpkin spice, a fuzzy navel fruit protein shake, some creamy chicken soup that was protein filled, and another protein shake along with my water bottle I sipped from all day.

This week I had a couple days where it stayed the same or didn't move at all. The next day the scale moved. I weigh everyday which is not good but I want to know what is working and what is not working so far. Maybe it was the about of fluid. Did you urinate a lot or maybe you might need to number 2. Sorry to be gross. BUT DONT BE DISCOURAGED. I was and I had to snap myself back.

I weigh every day as well and I know I am not supposed to as well. I just do. I am not too concerned with it but it is a notable change.
Only thing I can see and it's probably grasping at straws, condensed soups are notoriously high in Na also known as Sodium, an Fluid-Bloater of the first water. FYI fun fact , after being on sodium, low fat, lie-cal, high protein diet presurgery, they had piggy back sodium on top of normal saline because I was deficient, who would have thought?
The soup was a Baritastic high protein soup I had lots of water throughout the day. I think it was just an off scale day. I saw my PCP today and his scale said 350.2 and I had left my shoes on. I am not complaining about that number at all. He was pleased with how well everything was doing and wants to see me again in one month to monitor meds to see what we can lower the doses of or take me off of all together.
My doctor uses the Patch MD vitamin patches instead of pills. I love this as I don’t have to worry about when to take them. Just put a new one on each morning after my shower and wear for 8 hrs. I love this.

So do I. I use the multivitamin but thinking about getting biotin. They're so easy to use.
I’m doing the Tespo Bariatric liquid vitamins and my doctor called in a weekly nasal spray B12. Once I started these I started feeling much better!
Hello planochick! How've you been?

The premier protein send to more pose a problem for me. I lived in that stuff after my previous surgery last year but after this rny.... it tends to cramp me sooooo bad that it's ridiculous! I hate this because that was my only hope of even getting closer to protein requirement!

Hi KBridge,

I’m well. Traveled last week for work and it was tiring! I had my first bite of real food last night and that tiny amount of chicken salad might have been the best thing ever. Super frustrated that the scale didn’t move the whole week I was gone though. Ugh! Like how is that possible. I’m hoping I was swollen from flying.

Still some pain on left side but so much better. How are you?

I added the Biotin. So far no hair loss don’t know if this helps but it makes me feel like it might so good enough for me. Lol

I'm planning on adding some variety the First of the Month when I get paid. Someone said it encourages. facial hair, no big deal , thanks to PCOS, which should be sleeping. because of my age, I have had facial hair since 27, so I need now to shave or pluck more often? At least I will have enough hair to comb instead of arranging with a damp washcloth!?
