10 Days Post-Op and Feeling New Pain

Hello. Just joined this group today. I had my bypass on 8/1 and am feeling a different kind of pain today. It is a tightness and pain around the main incision (not the incision itself), but only when I move or bend. If I am sitting still, I feel fine. Is this normal? Thanks for any insight.

Internal stitches pulling from healing, nerves reknitting together. I would only worry if incisions are inflammed, errupting or if pain arises particularly after eating only. Twisting and bending can irritate incisions.

I agree with sosewsue - you’re healing :)
