Tons of veggies on this with a few chips on the side

This bread was so hard to find I wonder if I should stop sharing it with him 🤔😅

Mistakes may have been made...

Decided to try some ground chicken mixed with some khua kling seasoning...which is way spicier than I remember it being. We’ll see how this goes...

Felt the fullness warning, but the spice hasn’t caused any issues thus far. Which is nice because I LOVE spicy foods.

I tried that bread last year! I found for me it absolutely needed to be toasted to feel more bread like ( but I wonder how the Bagels are 🤔) Have you made other things with it (i.e french toast, PB&J, etc.)

The Aldi brand seems much more bread like in any state. It's so convincing, I find it very hard to believe that it's zero Net Carbs... But that's not stopping me

I just found the bread this week, I haven’t tried the other varieties. I really like Aldi’s English muffins with jelly though. They are only 120 calories but carby of course. I do need to watch my carb intake closer, I was hoping that wasn’t the case, however I gained 1.5 pounds his week while staying in my calorie zone. Granted it was the higher end of my calorie zone, but I had a lot of carbs!

Back to reality this week!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
