One kinda funny thing....

I keep raiding my daughter's closet. All those cool clothes I bought her that she never really liked...are MINE! LOLOLOLOL.

She has this one really awesome dark brown leather fitted blazer that I want...but so far she keeps clutching it and glaring at me.

"You can borrow it Mom. BORROW! Buy your own damned clothes, Woman! OH MY GOD, are you wearing my underwear?"

Just wait till she starts “borrowing” your clothes. I’m forever texting my daughter at college asking if she’s seen this or that item of mine. Eyeroll!

I took a few of my nice button up shirts in to have some alterations done. I’m unsure as to how they will turn out? Crossing fingers hoping I can salvage a few things. I’m not sure I’m interested in investing in a whole new wardrobe until I hit my goal.

@Jess9395 I'll eyeroll with you. One day I caught one of my favorite outfits going out the door on my daughter.
"Woah Missy", I said " If I have such horrid taste in clothing, why are you wearing that?
Her Answer "Because I can rock it, in a way you can't! Grrr!

I have gone from a size 28/30 to a size 22 in the pre op phase and have been purging as I went. I am certain I will not be back there ever again! I also live in an apartment and don’t have space to keep things that aren’t useful.

Surgery date is 8-22. Will start pre op diet 8-6. Have been cutting down and find I have lost a few pounds already which brings me to talk about clothes. I’ve done the Yo Yo thing all my life too, have a collection of different sizes.

I REFUSE to keep such a collection any more. I am and will continue to dispose of clothes I can’t wear anymore. I will borrow clothes, buy at Goodwill and discount stores just what I need and just a few things at that to get by. When I’m at my goal I have permission to SHOP SHOP SHOP LOLOL!!

Best wishes to all and keep sharing 👍

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
