Hi everyone ,
I'm kinda new here. I'm going for 3rd wls in September. None thru my fault, or surgery complications. Just because it's the way things went...
I had a very fantastic journey with my band. I started at 136kg and reached well below my goal, sitting happily at 58 kg for roughly 5 yrs. in 2011 I became pregnant (second with band) and suffered ridiculous pregnancy sickness vomitting multiple times a day so my band was loosened and then slipped.. I regained to reach 109 kg in less than a year because of living on slider foods. My band was removed and I had vsg 3 mths later.
I wish I had a new band put in :(
I have lived with GERD every day since surgery. I have struggled to lose weight, with my lowest being 92kg. I am permanently on a diet. 😣
I'm booked for Rny in September. This is purely for GERD I keep telling myself, I don't want to feel let down again.
I'm 45 yo mum. I want to feel well and like the way I look again.
Anyone have successful weightloss after multiple procedures?
How long did it take after more than one procedure to lose your weight?

Thanks for listening...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
