I was sorta being bad. I was just smelling a dinner roll dreaming of eating it. I didn’t but omg I want it so bad ?
Ellie get better!!
Hope Ellie feels better soon!!

I'm 4 weeks post op and I hadn't thrown up since being in the hospital until yesterday. I think I just didn't go slow enough and maybe the breakfast sausages were too dry. I moved my self backwards a little bit on my food plan and am just doing 'soft and moist' foods today.

Thanks for the prayers ellie123, just text me to let us know that prayers are working!
@rosawise@me.com keep us updated if you can!! Sending best wishes.

I will

@purplepassages will that not cause dumping?
Prayer request. ellie123, send us a message that she was in extreme pain, last night she had to go to the ER, where they run a CT scan and told her she had a Partial obstruction and internal swelling. They gave her morphine and pain never stop. Today she is still in extreme pain, nauseous and vomiting. She was admitted at the Bariatric Hospital for tonight. I believe in the power of prayers, please join me in praying for her during the day asking God for healing and wisdom to drs so they can help her.
I am very sorry she is going through this. Please know that I lifted her up in prayer as soon as I saw this post. Please keep us posted on her recovery.

Looking for suggestions...I'm trying to hit my protein goals through natural sources. It was easy when I was on a ton of shakes, but eating a few bites of chicken or tuna isn't cutting it. I really want to get away from having to add protein powder to everything because it's a PITA and it's expensive!

I've been doing eggs, grilled chicken, tuna, ricotta. Going to have ground turkey tonight. What else is everyone eating?

@ylime Cottage cheese, Yogurt, refried beans, melted cheese, ground beef, ground turkey, mashed potatoes, hot oatmeal, almond butter. Seems like a long list now that I see it but I'm still not getting enough protein because I eat such a small quantity each time. I don't like all the sweet protein shakes, and I learned after surgery I have issues with sucralose. But I finally am ok with ocean spray diet cranberry juice and Unjury unflavored protein powder. I just throw them together in my (cocktail) shaker with ice. Easy. Good luck finding what works for you. I keep inching closer to my 60g protein goal but have yet to reach it. I'm 3 weeks post sleeve surgery.

I couldn’t get enough protein in eating the small portions throughout the day like my surgeon’s office wanted so I had to go back to drinking 2 protein shakes a day. My blood work showed that my protein was low around the time where I was trying to eat my protein. I was eating chicken breasts, ground chicken, ground turkey, shockingly my tummy is fine with lean ground beef. Also I would use low fat or fat free cheeses. Still wasn’t meeting my protein needs though. I’m 10 weeks out and eating more than once a day is still challenging for me. Good luck! I hope you can do better than me in that department

My 2nd week post op I was doing MUCH better with water, it wasn't upsetting my stomach almost at all. ..but last week and this week (3rd and 4th) I'm back to feeling super gross drinking. Has anyone else had this?

Its so weird to me that water upsets my stomach, I used to LOVE drinking water...now the only things not bugging it seem to be keifer and bone broth.

Water post op has a tendency to feel like lead hitting your tummy. Maybe try crystal light in your water. It strangely does change the texture of the water, can’t quite explain it, in any event, it makes it more manageable to drink. Good luck!
