Bariatric haul! What have you bought for your journey or plan to buy?

Image1525466701.467866.jpg

I find myself doing a lot of research before I buy anything. I feel very happy with my latest haul. What have you bought or plan to get to better prepare yourself for this journey?

I also got my new oversized sweats to leave the hospital in.

I hear ya 3 weeks liquid diet is tough. Does the doctor require you to take the laxative before surgery?

As far as me, I'm doing ok. Going to see another surgeon next week for a second opinion and then having my psyh eval so I should be ready to submitt for my percert. I feel my current dr doesn't have the support I need and found another with better reviews. Soo much to consider when going through this process so I want to make the best decision possible.

Yeah even one day is tough on this preop diet. The doctor didn’t require a laxative but I really think it’ll be good for me Bc I haven’t been on liquids only and I’m afraid of not being throughly cleansed.

O wow.. you’re able to switch doctors in the middle of the process? Have you been to any seminars yet?

I need to buy small sauce containers with tops to put my soups and broth in there. I know one packet of my protein soup prob equal 6 of those little cups if not more but I just can’t picture the day I’ll eat such small quantity and I’m hesitant to buy it [emoji30]

Hi! I know, I’m so excited. I just want to go to sleep and wake up on Monday lol. When they told me that it was cancelled and I was going to have to wait yet another week I broke broke my diet. There’s no way I was going to be on it for 3 weeks. Then I got back on it but I have been eating Protein [emoji87] idk but it seems to be working because I’ve lost 10lbs so far. Saturday and Sunday I’m going to do only liquids and and a laxative. How are you doing?

Deff buying those to measure my water sips. As much as I dislike drinking water I’m already anticipating it to be a chore.

I grew up in a town with a fresh spring that now bottles and sells their water. Cant get any better than it, in my opion. Roaring Spring bottled water.

Not sure I’ve tried that one I will have to see if I can find it

I was told that I could switch doctors because I haven't been certified for the surgery yet. Since nothing has been submitted I can just have my records sent to my new doctor and have him send the paperwork in for certification. No seminars yet but my EGD is done, 3 months with the surgeon done, nutrition and exercise appointment done as well.

Its not as big as alot of the companys. It is a very small town in PA. They also make coffees now.

Yeah @Chrisb428 I've tasted your Roaring Springs water, pleasant as bottled water usually isn't. I usually buy Aquafina because,it is easily accessible,in my area.?
