My son and I went to see Bolt last week. We both thought it was really cute (he's 11).

Ceradad, consider me chastised but I already posted that earlier... maybe you should have read the whole thread? Anyway, I don't disrespect all cops nor do I put them on a pedestal. Putting on a uniform does not turn one into a better human being, it just makes one a human being in a uniform. I admire and respect people who do their jobs. I don't believe traffic cops enjoy being traffic cops any more than people enjoy being pulled over. It's just something that has to happen in an ordered society and we all play our part.

Understood Donna. All I ask is for people to not simply say they do not respect all police officers. You don't have to like us, but you should respect the job we do for you and your family. And, I understand about not all officers being good. But, that is the case in every profession. I'm sure you can think of someone in your office/job that is not what you would wish for a co worker.

No hard feelings.

LJM, have fun at the movies, I am sure they are used to kids that age chatting. I heard the movie is supposed to be fun.

it was cute and she was relatively good... she LOVES to talk and talk and talk (non-stop most times), but she only got antsy when she was out of popcorn...

It was pretty quiet here last night... what happened to all the late night posters? Where is Luluc this morning?

I was out at dinner for my Mum's bday and then had an early night to get up this morning to head over and help my sister move house. Oh the joy...... not looking forward to it one bit.

We had a power failure on site, so I spent yesterday afternoon and evening either sitting in the pool in camp (which was blood warm) or sweltering in the dark in my room . It did come on again just in time to go to sleep, so at least I didn't have to put up with that all night.

I hear John Lennon singing in the background "Karma is gonna get you..." as I watch the sound bite of OJ's sentence.

Moving sucks MUCHLY!!!!!

PJTP that my department's most useless employee got called into the SVP's office for over an hour this afternoon!!! Oh to have been a fly on that wall. He's an analyst who has gotten to the point where his co-workers have to keep up with his "to do" list. I would be mortified to be that useless....mortified.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
