Weirdest coments you've gotten since WLS

The other day my girl friends and I went to a bar/restaurant and they ordered drinks upon entering. I said, "nothing for me". Later she brought us our menus and their drinks. The waitress didn't say anything then, but eventually said "So why aren't we drinking anything? Why aren't you hydrating? Fluids are friends!" I told her I don't eat and drink at the same time. It seemed to suffice her curiosity. But it made me think that there has to be some weird stuff people have heard!

That is awesome! Congratulations! As of today, I’ve lost 100 of my 240 excess (92 were lost pre-op). I don’t know that I will lose all 240—that seems too good to be true. I would be thrilled to lose 200.

I feel the same way, about it being too good to be true. But I'd be happy to loose another 70lbs.

Loosing 200lbs excess for me puts me at 130lbs, which is what I should be at for a healthy BMI. Realistic, I don't know, but time will tell.

It really helps to talk on here to someone who has been in the same swamp we find ourselves in and has made her way out to a better place. You've fought the fight, you're winning and now we have hope we can too. Thanks to all of you for inspiring me on when I hit a "low" day.?

You have been doing great... I’ve been noticing all of your progress over the last few months. I will be crossing my fingers for you!

thank you! I appreciate it. I'll be rooting for you too

Everyone keeps asking me if I'm sick. Or giving those judgmental glances. So, I've just become very open that I've had surgery so they don't think I'm sick or on drugs... small town drama lol

Well my good buddies and peeps I am a redhead- well actually strawberry blonde- but it's in the red family. Back when I was walking into of my least favorite clients room , yeah we all had them even if we were professional to show it. Her name was Virginia, I can mention,it because she became Satan's private. Secretary years ago, she thrived on being objectionable. She took one look at me and said "I supposed you put something on your hair again" now every chance. she got she made a snide remark up to and including my morals. This day I was a little fed-up- I looked her in the eye and said "No Virginia, it just rusted". If she would tell me " no use losing weight, you'll still be ugly."?
Professional and did not show it- this smartphone can be stupid at times, I reread things and it still says what IT wants to.?
