Day 6 post op DS switch, gall bladder removal, and hiatal hernia repair

Liquids are so hard to get to my goal! still sore but all is ok. All the surgery weight I gained(12 lbs) is gone! Yay!!! I was so worried about that. But I’m losing and that’s all that matters! The 64 oz of water is tough to get in and so is 80-100 of liquid protein! How are others doing it?[emoji31]?

Just take is slow. Your healing and your body is adjusting. It’s normal to not be able to get it all in this early. Sounds like your doing well.

Most are counting proteins shakes towards both water and proteins

I had 4 half shakes spaced at 4 hours, with 16 ounces of water in between. It was tough at first! You have to make it a priority. Good luck to you!!
