Any March 2018 Sleevers?

I just got my surgery date for March 5. I am excited and nervous at the same time but I'm trying to hold it all together. :)

March 12 I have my sleeve who else is in March

In March 12 to! Can’t believe I’ve made it this far on my liquid diet. Had my surgery cleared yesterday. The countdown is on! I’m excited but really nervous...

All of us, LOL

March 14th for me :)

@JD3787, thanks for your detail. It echoes my own experience (I was sleeved yesterday), but the only significant nausea I had was in the first 30 minutes after waking up in recovery...no puking though.

This is true. I was sleeved on 6th (yesterday). I'm so painful. Especially where they pulled out my stomach. The morphine pump.makes me sick to my stomach, but no puke yet.

Sleeved March 1st I am able to drink water with no issues flavored or not. Protein shakes I try to take in slower but I am getting it in.

GW: don’t have one yet
Good news is I haven’t needed to take my diabetes meds since before surgery so that’s a plus.

I am March 29th. S
Starting to feel nervous!

Don’t feel nervous you got this. Try to go in with a positive attitude everything will be fine. If you have support groups in your area I would suggest attending those too. I learned a lot from my support group and appreciate everything from it.

I’m getting hungry as well. I was sleeved 2/27 and I was doing fine with hunger at first now I’m hungry and I’m only suppose to have full liquids

Hang in there, I hope that soon it will pass. Think long term and the rewards will be awesome I’m sure.

Thank You! Any suggestions for the 2 week liqued diet pre op?

Take it one day at a time and try to drink as much water as possible. Two weeks will fly right by. When you start to get too nervous, try and distract yourself with other things. You could check out Youtube videos and see how well others have done.
