  1. So glad you posted this!! I was sleeves march 12. I’m down 52 lbs. I have about 20lbs till goal. I’ve stalled big time and have been feeling discouraged. Glad I saw this post! Back to basics and exercise is needed
  2. I was sleeved march 12. I lost 50lbs so far and have been stalled. I don’t have much more to lose and I’m stuck. I lost a lot of hair which is very scary but I hear is common. I started my journey at 229 I am now 180. We set my goal at 160 for now so I’m close but not moving at all. Any advice? Anyone in the same boat?
  3. Hi All! I was sleeved 3/12 and I lost 45 lbs. kinda stuck now for a few weeks and don’t want to get discouraged. Have about 25 more lbs to go. Also hair loss is getting a little much to handle! Any tips??

  9. So I'm a few weeks out and I'm in the purée stage. I remember someone saying along the way saying can't drink 30 mins before or 30 mins after eating. Anyone know why? Is this forever because it's hard!!
  10. I actually found it on here someplace. This is the first thing I “ate” when I was able to and it was heavenly! Lol! here is the recipe! Baked ricotta 8oz ricotta 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese 1t. Italian seasoning 1lg egg Salt and pepper 1/2 cup marinara sauce (I used 1/2 cup sun dried Tomato alfrado sauce 1/2 cup low fat mozzarella cheese Mix ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, beaten egg, and seasonings together. Place in oven dish pour sauce over top then top with mozzarella cheese. Bake 450 for 20-25 min. 6 servings 88 cal. 4 fat. 3.3 carbs and 9.2 Protein
  11. I’ve been doing fat free retried beans with little bit of salsa and little bit of low fat shredded cheese. Also made ricotta bake which is really good. It’s lasagna without the noodles! I’ve also done tuna with low-fat mayo and pickle relish(sounds weird but is pretty good to)!
  12. I had a hard time getting in the protein and 64 oz of fluids. My dr told me the premier protein counts as liquid and protein. So if I drink 2 of those a day it 60oz protein and 22oz "water" then all I have to worry about is another 53 oz of water. That took me all day to get in the first few days. If that's tolerable anything extra eaten is a bonus. Yesterday I had some fat free refried beans mashed up with some salsa. I've tried a little bit of low fat ricotta cheese. Little by little you will get there
  13. Had my surgery Monday. Have only been able to get in water and 2 protein shakes a day and that literally look me all day. Today is the first day I had an appetite so I made this and it is absolutely delicious even if I can only eat a spoon full!!
  14. I didn’t tell anyone either! Just husband and parents. Took 1 week off work told them I had things to do with my kids. Hoping I’ll be ok to go back Monday[emoji51]
  15. Wow! My dr had me on stage 1(clear liquids) in the hospital the day after surgery. Once I was able to tolerate that he put me on stage 2 puréed foods. I was getting nervous bc I’m not hungry at all I can’t even eat if I wanted to. Having a Hard time swallowing. Still hurts.
  16. I was sleeved on march 12th. Having an impossible time meeting my protein requirements. Anyone else??
