After almost 6 months it's still the same, I eat super slow and I don't own a microwave. So I just had to learn to deal with the cold food. It is what it is I guess. But if you do own a microwave I guess it can become your new best friend.

I’m on purée stage and trying to eat slow but by the time I purée and eat, my food is cold in no time. How are you combating this?

I was literally just complaining to my husband that I miss hot food LOL I feel your pain!!!

I will occasionally zap my food in the microwave halfway through, if it's getting cold and it's something that tastes awful cold (scrambled eggs, etc).

I've been eating cold food and hating it. I have to pay attention to my behavior because I start to put a bite in too soon because I want to eat my food when it's warm.

I bought a baby plate from the supermarket

it had a hot Water section underneath the bowl so the food stayed tolerably warm

hope this helps

That sounds cool, I have also just eaten out of the pot that I warm or cook my food in as it keeps heat for a long time but you have to be careful not to get burned and at restaurants I ask for foil to put over my food to keep it warm. Hope these help.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
