Yes! I just want something I can chew. So tired of soups and jello and yogurt. Thursday I can start my mushy/pureed food. I'm really excited about tuna lol.

Sent from my SM-G935V using BariatricPal mobile app

Have SO been there! I remember getting my first bowl of cocoa wheats...I wanted to skitter off to a corner with them and hiss My Preciousssssssss!!!!!!! LOL

The food cravings can be really weird. I remeber I would have cut somebody for a can of green beans...lol. I was more excited about eating a salad again than I was probably anything else.

I feel that salad desire. I'm back on most things....but what I miss and want the most...is a crunchy salad. Tired of mushy food...want texture and zing:) So many salads I miss... Won't be long, now:)

Yep...it was the texture that I missed so much. As tough as the post-op phase was I'm thankful for it because it gave me a new appreciation for food.

OMG me too! I've been wanting to make a beer can chicken since I was on the pre-surgery diet! Hopefully I can in a little less than a month...hopefully...

Figured you'd be more of a sausage person :lol::lol:

Ha!

You guys are too funny. It's crazy the things that we crave when we can't have anything LOL. Green beans *crying face*

Nuts! Bread! Rice!

Hang in there girl! You got this!!!! :D All of you are doing great!!!!!

I'm honestly dreading that 2 week pre-op liquid diet. I'm just gonna have to take it in baby steps, cuz right now I've no idea how I will get through it. It's that scary and I have that little trust in myself!

I have a love/hate relationship about chicken. Love the taste of Costco’s rotisserie chicken, hate the smell. Seriously the smell permeates everything. It has to be the last thing in the cart. My car stinks for days.

I wasn’t like this before surgery.

It sucks for sure! But I’ll be there rooting you on during yours as well! [emoji8]

God, wouldn't that be great?

"Ick, I can't STAND the taste of chips! And that crispy, salty, crunchy texture? Disgusting!!!!!" said no one ever. *snort*
