Spring 2018 Sleevers??? Looking for support, surgery buddies, advice, etc.! Lol.

Hi everyone! I am a “newbie” here, and I’m also new to the *Wonderful World of Weight-loss Surgery*. I started my process in November, my insurance requires a consecutive 6 month physician supervised diet,my appointment next week will make month 3 for me(halfway mark yay!!). This is my first time making a post, I mostly get on here to just read research, but I noticed that everyone is either post-op, or already on the liquid diet, so I’m looking for people to connect with that are currently still going through the process before approval like me...a little about myself: My name is Jaz I am 25yrs old.

MY STATS:

Height: 5”6

CW: 243(give or take)

HW: 250

GW: 140

BMI:39

Just had my last weigh and and Physical therapy appointment today! Now submitting to insurance (aetna). I'm so nervous and wondering how long till i hear from insurance and then how long until I can get the surgery. I'm thinking latest beginning of june. Anxiety is so bad right now.

Everyone's insurance is different. Mine took 5 weeks. But others take 2 weeks. I was scheduled for surgery 2 weeks after the approval so I could do my preop liquid diet.

It will all be worth it. Don't give up!

Morning All my Good Buddies-look up my poem over on "Surgery the EASY way?", I'm tooting,my horn but I think,i did good. Everybody feeling good today? Everybody recovering, from or preparing for their surgery? We are all alive and its going to be a? good day! Go out, exercise and. make nice memories!

I learned a few days ago that my surgery will be June 11th. I am scared and excited. I hope it works.

I am going under the knife on Tuesday May 15th! I didn’t have to go on the liquid diet so I’m trying to fit all my favorite meals in beforehand. Happy to have people to do this with.

I got my approval letter yesterday. I am all set for May 22. This is going to be the start of my wonderful new life. :D
