I used to be the person who got hot very quickly, now I have days that I call "Double Sweater Days" because that's what I end up wearing at work is two sweaters.

Central part, 48 miles NE of Columbus, where I had my surgery at Ohio State University, in Mount Vernon, the hometown of Daniel Decatur Emmett, who composed DIXIE, Paul Lynde, the late Hollywood actor and now ME, although I was actually born in Newark, 23 miles South of here, because that's where my parents were living. And I usually live in sweats, sleep in sweats, and don't defrost out until May when the rest of the world turns on Air Conditioning and starts fanning themselves!⛄❄⛄

Like all of you, I've never been one to be chilly. I live in Arizona so it rarely gets cold. This has been the coldest winter I've ever been through, though.. I got a space heater for under my desk at work! Unheard of. At least now I've lost enough weight to not look like a marshmallow if I layer my clothes :)

I’m in the same boat. I broke down and purchased a heated throw to use at work and Wear a sweater around the house. I blamed it on my lack of thyroid but it actually may be the weight loss.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
