Hello all...

I've been a little discouraged lately because the numbers on the scale have been staying the same and not headed downward as I'd like. But I know that not all weightloss happens on the scale, so I wanted to share a couple of small victories I've had today. :)

First, I managed to get into a pair of size 16 pants today (and managed to stay comfortable in them for 12+ hours)! Granted, they're from a plus-size clothing store, so are likely closer to an 18, but still... Yay!

And second, we had our daughter's birthday party here today and I was totally comfortable not having any of the birthday cake (that I spent more than an hour decorating and it still turned out ugly as sin... lol) or ice cream. Double yay!

What small victories are you celebrating?

First of all, great job! It's so important to recognize NSVs along the way, and those are awesome!

Second of all, bodies are so weird. I just celebrated getting into a size 16 in a plus size store and I'm 183 pounds at 5'5. You're gonna be a size zero at that rate, great job!

LOL Yeah, I carry most of my weight on my stomach (above my belly button), so I can get into smaller pants, but 16 is still wow for me. Button-down shirts though are a total no-go for me. :)

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
